Quick answer

We paint homes and businesses across Kane County, IL, along the Fox River from Aurora through Batavia, Geneva and St. Charles to Elgin. The county mixes older river-town houses with wood siding and plaster walls and newer subdivisions to the west, so calls range from historic exteriors to whole-house interiors. We answer 24/7.

Housing in Kane County

Old river towns and new subdivisions in one county

Kane County splits in two. The towns along the Fox River grew around mills and rail lines, and 12.7 percent of the county's homes were built before 1940, the largest share of any county we cover. Those houses have wood clapboard, porches, original windows and plaster, and they need scraping, wood repair and slow-drying oil primers before any color goes on.

West of the river the picture changes. More than a third of homes went up between 1990 and 2009, and the median home was built in 1985. On those streets the work looks like the rest of the suburbs: interior repaints, cabinets, trim and siding on houses a few decades old.

Where we work

Where in Kane County we paint

Much of Aurora lies in Kane County, and it is the first stop west of Naperville. From there we follow the river north through North Aurora, Batavia, Geneva, the county seat, and St. Charles, then on to Elgin, which we also reach from the head office in Crystal Lake. Newer neighborhoods west of Randall Road and around Sugar Grove are on the same routes.

Downtown storefronts and older commercial buildings along the river are painted in phases so the businesses stay open.
